Homemade Halloween Costume

Check out these Power Rangers Megaforce dudes!

We purchased our son’s Halloween costume at the local thrift store and he really wanted his dad to be a power ranger too. I was not down to spend $45 on a costume for a couple hours walking in the cold. So I through this together.

First I printed the mask from here:

I colored this mask in and ran it through my laminator. Added a string to wrap around his head.

Then I purchased a $6 red Hanes Sweatshirt from Walmart. I cut it down the middle and put duct-tape on the seam.

I spray painted an old belt gold.

I wrapped my husbands ankles with red and silver duct-tape over his black sweatpants.

He wore a black shirt.

Perfection!
